  • John DeBenedictis will bring his Golden Goal Scoring Course to Scarborough and provide players specific striker drills and exercises to help them improve their goal scoring efficiency rate.

  • The Golden Goal Scoring Course will comprise of 6 sessions. 3 of which take place in the classroom, and 3 which will take place on the field.

  • John will reveal some POWERFUL INFORMATION that involves training the mind specific to scoring.

  • John will work on perfecting a player’s technique so that they score more goals and provide them with some exercises that will help them train on their own to score more goals. 

This course will give you some insight into what some of the best goal scorers and players do instinctively!

Part # 1 – Lecture Session

Preparing to Score More Goals

Session #1 will provide you with the tools you will need in order to become a better goal scorer. 

Session One covers:

  • How to train the mind to score more goals

  • Learning about Visualization as it pertains to scoring goals

  • How to prepare before each game to score more goals.

  • Learn skills that will help you focus on your tasks whatever they may be in life

Part #1 – Field Session
Perfecting the technical and mental skills needed to score

 

  • Players will take all the information from the lectures and learn how to apply them on the field in practices and games.

  • Skill mastery both technically but also with the mind will be the focus of Field Session #1.

Part # 2 – Lecture Session
How to Score More Goals

Session # 2 will show you how to take the information from Session #1 and apply it in your game. We will analyze the skills needed to score in more depth.
 

Session Two covers:

  • How to avoid and correct the 2 most common mistakes players make when faced with a goal scoring opportunity

  • How to score on half chances

  • Understanding defenders.

  • How successful players manage to score more goals.

  • Scoring goals from different areas of the field


Part #2 – Field Session
Refining the Techniques Needed to Score

  • How to shoot with more accuracy

  • How to shoot with more power

  • Which top 3 moves players need to master to get the most scoring chances

  • Scoring off crosses

Part # 3 – Lecture Session
Beating the Goalkeeper and Defenders

Session Three covers:

  • How to beat defenders more consistently

  • How to study your defenders and goalkeepers and you will learn what they are attempting to do in order to stop you from scoring.

  • How to beat defenders to the ball

  • How to understand your competition

  • Scoring from Set Plays

  • How to know what the goalkeeper is doing before they do it


Part #3 – Field Session
Summary and Practice Tips to Score More Goals

 

  • Players will learn how to practice in game situations

  • Players will learn to blend skill and technique and make more correct decisions on the field that will help them score more goals.

  • The most important Coerver moves when it comes to scoring goals will be perfected.

Session Dates, Times, and Location

Please Note:

  • Each lecture session will be 3-3½ hours in length. Each field session will be 2½-3 hours in length. Lunch and Breaks are provided.

  • Classroom sessions and on-field sessions will take place in Caledon (just north of Brampton).

  • Parents will be allowed to join the students in the classroom and on the field at no extra charge, unless COVID restrictions still apply.

  • Players MUST be a minimum of 13 years of age.

  • Since the goal scoring course is conducted in a one-on-one format, males and female players of different ages will be able to participate together.

  • There will be a limited number of spaces available.

  • Players will be provided online guidance and follow-up at no extra charge. The student will be able to contact the instructor with one-on-one consultation to help them with their game at any time after the course.
