"Congrats in signing Andrew.

He's an exceptional player who leads by example. From when I first worked with him as a 9 year old kid, he was easy to coach and always eager to learn.

Over the years he has worked with coaches from East York and Wexford (Paul Martin) as well as myself. He took my Golden Goal Scoring Course and played for us last year being our leading scorer in last season's shortened year. Most of our friendly games were against excellent Men's teams as opposed to teams within our U17 age bracket which meant that he adapted well to playing against more experienced and older players.

He was also our leading scorer in a winter tournament we attended the Christmas before the pandemic. We played against a higher age bracket and once again, he showed that he can score against older teams. We didn't get many chances to score but he has that ability to score goals when given few chances. Hopefully, he will be able to continue that with Trent.

Andrew has a great ability to score and set up goals. As a target man, he finds spaces very well and is able to maintain possession, waiting for support or by taking players on.

Andrew has a great support system coming from his parents, Ron and Lynn who try not to miss a game. He's a wonderful kid to coach. I also chose him as a co-captain last year as he shows great leadership qualities. He loves the game and is looking forward to playing for Trent.

I couldn't be happier for Andrew that he's chosen Trent to pursue his soccer and academic career, not just because I know he'll be able to continue to grow and improve, but also selflessly, because I'll be close enough to go watch him play!"
